My GIST LIST

I like how my Mom does her GIST LIST every night, so I thought that since my summer is ending...I START 4TH GRADE TOMORROW...I would do a summer GIST LIST.

1.  Having friends spend the night.
2.  My swimming pool.
3.  Going on vacay with my family.
4.  Getting the chance to see Charlie (Nana's puppy).
5.  Getting ready for school.

My Bri-Bri puppy

SABRINA
I will always remember Sabrina as my first best friend. She was there for 8 years of my life. The parts of life I started remembering. She was there when I took my first steps. Now she is gone. It is a hole in my heart that can’t be fixed. I have Sabrina’s collar. I made a picture frame with a picture of me & Sabrina. Now
Lexi is our only dog. Roger and Buck were waiting for Sabrina with a big bag of treats. Sabrina was 25% timber wolf. . Sabrina had tumors on the left side of her face. She was my baby and now she is gone. I wish Sabrina could live forever. All dogs go to heaven right? HI BRI-BRI!

Long time no "see"...

This is Jojo's Mom doing a guest blog spot for her.  She's busy watching a movie and relaxing after a fun night with her 2 BFF's over.  They are twin sister and a TON of fun, I haven't giggled like that in a long time.
Jojo has been very busy since becoming a National Champion.  She's had lots of tests at school ~ in all subjects.   In math, she finally mastered all her multiplication facts.  She finished her last test in those and has moved onto division, so far she's conquering her 4 division facts.  Next week they have BIG state wide testing, but she only needs to take the math part because she passed the other part in the fall.  The math test wasn't given in the fall, so that's why she's taking it now.  She isn't nervous about the big test at all, in fact (and this isn't surprising for those of us that know her) she's EXCITED!  lol  There has been lots of things going on after school, including cheerleading.  Yes, my Munchkin is a cheerleader for football once again!  Practices will be once a week, along with tumbling, but will increase to 2 times a week, once softball is over.
Over Spring Break the kids and I took a drive to NY to see her Daddy and spend the week with him.  The kids did so well in the car there and back.  We had fun things to do each day but most of all they just loved cuddling with their Daddy.  It was so wonderful to see.  He's done working this week, so it will be fun to have him home.
Other than that she's enjoying the warmer weather, doing cartwheels and flips all over our block.  Thank goodness we get along with our neighbors because she just keeps flipping until she's dizzy!  lol
Thanks for stopping in to see what's new in Jojo's World!

NATIONAL CHAMPS!!!

Our competitive cheerleading season is over and we are now NATIONAL CHAMPS!!!!  My Daddy was able to come and watch our last two performances and he was there to see us get our medals.  It was really exciting!
I got my sweatshirt a few days later and my Mom took pictures of me in it with all my medals from the year.  Our coach gave us a really nice plaque at our end of the year party, so we got pictures of that too.  Here they are:

An update...

This past week we were super busy with practices and tumbling and then we had a competition in Genoa this past weekend. It was nice that it was so close - only 30 minutes away! This competition was raising money for the American Cancer Society so we wore pink shirts and black shorts to perform in - awesome right! Our routine was awesome but we were 2 seconds short on our time frame and got deducted 25 points (this doesn't happen in all competitions, we usually have a maximum time limit, but not a minimum). That deduction made us fall to 3rd place :( We would have beat the first place team by 11 points if we didn't have that stinkin' deduction. I felt alright about that because I knew our performance ROCKED! After being home for a bit we went to my Nana's and had subs and salad. We watched some of the Olympics and on the ride home Jakey and I both fell asleep.
On Sunday we went to my Grandma's for some of her Chicken Rice Soup and then Mom helped me with a 3D puzzle. It's a koala bear and is so cute!
Today we had a 2 hour delay because of the snow we got over night, but I didn't miss my Book Fair! I got a book called The Princess Plot for me and Froggy Goes to Camp for Jakey. I also had practice. When I got home I got a really nice card from Aunt Judy - THANK YOU AUNT JUDY! It was very awesome, thanks for sending it to me.

WE DID IT AGAIN!

We had a competition in Canton, OH yesterday and we came in 1st place AGAIN!!!! This competition was at a Civic Center and it was HUGE! All the parents got to come out onto the floor and sit in front of the mats. It was really neat.
Mom got us up at 7 am so that we could leave at 7:30 to go see my friend compete in her first individual routine. This was her first time and she did really good. She had 4 other girls to compete against and she came in 3rd. We were the only ones there routing for her and it felt good to do that. The rest of the squad didn't have to be there til 3, so we had time to run around, shop for a new shirt for me (I got one that said "There are a million other things more important than cheerleading" on the front and on the back it said "But I cannot think of one."), and eat some concession food. Our coach had us paired up with a buddy and we exchanged gifts before we competed. I got a really cool pink basket that had 2 packs of gum, animal crackers, a mirror and Nerds chapstick. I think we find out tomorrow who our next buddy is because we have another competition on Saturday. This one is helping Breast Cancer, so we are going to wear pink shirts with black shorts. We even changed our swooshes in our cheer shoes to pink ones! It's so neat!
Mom let us watch Disney Channel most of the day today and we got to see Camp Rock, I just love that movie!

A frickin' elephant

My Mom got this joke in an e-mail yesterday and I couldn't stop laughing. It's so funny!

Jake is 5 and learning to read. He points at a picture in a zoo book and says, "Look Mama! It's a frickin' Elephant!"

Mom taks a deep breath and asks "What did you call it?"

"It's a frickin' Elephant, Mama! It says so on the picture!"

And so it does ...

So much fun!

One of my besties got to come over and spend the whole day with us! She even went to bowling with us. Jakey was at Nana's so we weren't bothered by him at all.
Mom got this picture of us making puppets and then we put on a puppet show for her. It was really funny.

Busy and fun weekend!

My whole cheerleading team went to Cleveland for 2 competitions and it was soooooooooooo much fun! The hotel had a pool and a hot tub so after competitions we were able to swim and be in the hot tub til 10 pm. We went out to dinner as a team one night and we usually all ate lunch together too. In both competitions we got 1st place - that's 3 in a row! The first competition we only got a team trophy and the second one we got a team trophy and then each of us got a medal. We are all going to wear them to school on Monday. Another exciting thing is that I lost a tooth each night we were in Cleveland. One more exciting thing is that our friend Neha, was able to come to our competition on Sunday. She lives in Cleveland and we haven't seen her in a long time. I was super excited to see her!
Here are some pictures that Mom took of our weekend.

Meet my Cabbage Patch

This is Nadine Iona, she was born on November 1, 1985. She's a year younger than my Hubba!

Photobucket

This is for you Nana!

My Nana said that lately she has really liked Lady Gaga, so this video is for her. She said she wasn't sure if she had heard Popsarottly (that's how Jakey says it - it's really Papparazzi).

We went to a spaghetti benefit dinner last night and I won a Cabbage Patch Doll. It's actually an old one that has been sitting in someone's attic since 1985! Her name is Nadine Iona and her clothes are a bit stinky but Mom said she'd wash them for me. Jakey and I also won 2 free bowling passes each. Mom and Nana were shocked that we passed up the pizza coupons. We had a nice time but it's sad to think that these little kids don't have a Mom anymore.

My new diary.

Today my friend Erika yelled across the lunch table, "JOJO LOVES ELIJAH GILBERT!" I was sooooooooooo mad and embarrassed. I sooooooooooo do not like him and I don't know why she said that. The school counselor came and took me to her office, because she could tell I was upset. Then she said that I needed a diary for when these things happen. So I'm going to use my blog as a diary to help me get my feelings out. It won't always be about my feelings, I'll still do my favorite things and what I'm doing in school. Sometimes I'll just need to get my feelings out and I figured instead of wasting paper I can let you all know.

We've been busy!

My Daddy came home to spend Christmas with us and it was so much fun! We went out to eat, we watched TV and snuggled with him, we went to Chuck E. Cheese and had some skee ball competitions, we stayed up late, we played Lego Rock Band (a gift from my Hubba) and just had fun. Maybe tomorrow Momma can upload the pictures of me and my friend playing Rock Band.
My 2 favorite gifts that I got for Christmas are my mini trampoline (from my Grandma and Grandpa) and my Project Runway Fashion Projector. They are both soooooooooo cool! Santa even brought me the Baby Alive! I was so excited but her baby food keeps getting stuck in her mouth and it's kind of gross to see. My Uncle Acka, Aunt Katie, and Landyn got me 4 Diary of A Wimpy Kid books and I finished them all in 2 days. I just love to read.
We go back to school on Monday and I'm really excited.
